A cultural artistic project composed entirely of women, which consists of musical presentations (shows) for enjoyment aiming at the dissemination of concert music and, above all, the important role of making women (re)emerge as musical protagonists, giving space to stage, strengthening, promoting and valuing female musicians, performers and composers in the national concert music scene, especially in Rio.
A true proposal for democratization, in the most literal sense of the word, which aims for representation and inclusion, recognizing its cultural manifestations, its values, meanings, social and cultural relevance. Recently, Sons Pelas Mulheres carried out a metropolitan tour through the Culture Notice (Sesc Pulsar 2024) of SESC RJ to present a show that narrates MPB from Chiquinha Gonzaga to Clarice Assad.
We will be occupying the Sala Mário Tavares at the Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro in 2024 with new chamber concerts open to the public. Very soon, we will publish the agenda for the 2024 Season of concerts at the Metropolitan Philharmonic session.
